I have been accepted to the artist residency at Château d’Orquevaux in France. Two weeks of painting alongside other artists and writers is a dream I have worked toward for years, and I am raising funds to help cover the trip.

The château is an international artists and writers residency in the Haute-Marne, in the Champagne-Ardenne region of northeastern France. It was built in the Napoleon III style as a hunting lodge, on an estate with ties to the philosopher Denis Diderot through his family.
I was selected for the residency and awarded the Denis Diderot Grant, which will be applied toward my stay. The rest of the trip is mine to cover, and support from friends, collectors and fellow art lovers helps make it possible.
